Hikje (which means little hiccup in Dutch!) was founded in the spring of 2008 by Dutch designer Janneke Zantinge.
Shop policies
designer Janneke Zantinge. Janneke graduated in 2006 at the Utrecht School of the Arts in the Netherlands. She started her own business in product design and illustration, but also started working as a birth announcement designer.
Nowadays Janneke lives in the far north of the Netherlands; Groningen. When she isn't working in her studio, she loves to work in her vegetable garden, ride her bike to the post office or prepare a eight course dinner in her small but perfect little kitchen.
Janneke recently got featured in the latest edition of Print & Pattern - Kids.
